Solvent VCN Systems

This system employs Tergo solvent to clean aluminum heat exchangers of varying dimensions. The workstation measures 6 feet in width and 2.5 feet in depth, with a submerged parts capacity of up to 16 inches using over 100 gallons of water per cycle.

It functions as a Vacuum Cycling Nucleation (VCN) cleaning unit, capable of rinsing both internal and external surfaces of tubes, tortuous passages, and small rectangular channels prior to brazing. Operation temperatures are maintained below 40°C. The process sequence includes vapor degreasing, soaking, cleaning via the VCN method, cooling, a second vapor degrease, vacuum drying, and heated air drying, with the entire cycle completed in under 30 minutes.
