Vacuum Processing Systems
When superior performance is a requirement.
Vacuum Processing Systems (VPS), LLC designs and develops environmentally safe industrial cleaning systems that operate in vacuums. Based on patented vacuum-to-vacuum solvent cleaning methods that operate efficiently with many different solvents, both flammable and non-flammable, these systems provide highly effective cleaning and etching of industrial parts and components, leaving no solvents or residue behind. The vacuum—and how they apply it—makes all the difference!
Spend some time with us at VPS to learn more about these advanced industrial cleaning technologies!
AIRLESS DEGREASERS
We introduced vacuum solvent cleaning systems in the early 1990’s as SEREC Corp. to meet all of the states’ and federal regulations. Vacuum Processing Systems is the only vapor degreaser manufacturer listed with the SCAQMD having permittable degreasers. Our airless systems can reduce emissions from 95 to over 99%. Our vapor degreasers operating in Southern California generally use less than 1 gallon of solvent a month. Our vapor degreasing equipment comes with distillation for recycling up to 95% of your solvent and vacuum drying for spotless cleaning.
In 2007, after over 10 years of compiling emission data, our Airless vapor degreasers were the only vapor degreaser recommended by the EPA for solvent vapor degreasing and meeting the NESHAP regulations for vapor degreasing machines.
VACUUM CYCLING NUCLEATION (VCN)
Vacuum Cycling Nucleation (VCN) is a technology that can clean difficult areas and clean up to 10 times faster than any other present cleaning method. The process is accomplished by pulling
Combine our ultrasonic cleaning equipment with the VCN process for complete cleaning.
LIQUID CLEANING SYSTEMS
Our aqueous cleaning and solvent liquid soak systems operate under vacuum to assure that all recessed areas and internal surfaces can be filled completely with liquid during cleaning. All of the same processes as practiced in an open-top vapor cleaning systems can be well used in an airless system. Examples would be immersion, sonics, superheat, drying, heated immersion, clean immersion etc. Our aqueous cleaning takes place in a vacuum chamber which allows us to have complete process control. This means we can optimize any process. Ultrasonics, for instance, operating at low temperatures will not cavitate and clean as well as when at higher temperatures. In our ultrasonic cleaning machine, a more effective cavitation can be attained by lowering the chamber pressure. All ultrasonic degreasing equipment have vacuum drying and can have other enhanced processes such as VCN.
