WAFER PROCESSING

The video shows racked wafers being processed with VCN. Vacuum vapor bubbles periodically sweep the wafer surface clean of hydrogen and ion byproducts delivering OH- rapidly and uniformly for shorter, more effective wafer techturizing. VCN also assists in delivering fresh bulk solution between the racked wafers.


FLIP CHIP DEFLUXING

The video shows the VCN mechanism for moving fluid in and out of tight offset areas. Fresh fluid enters at the bottom between close plates and expels spent fluid at the top of the plates.


LEACHING FROM POROUS METAL FILTER

The video shows vapor bubble formation within an internal porous matrix. The porous part behaves like a sponge during the pulsing VCN process. Fluid is expelled from the part during the vacuum cycle as when squeezing a sponge and then the pores are filled with fresh fluid during the pressure cycle as when a sponge is submerged in a fluid.


SYRINGE CLEANING

The video shows the effectiveness of vapor formation for removing fluid from an enclosed region. During the pressure cycle, fluid filling of hard to reach cavities can be viewed.

The second half of the video demonstrates how rapid surface treatment can be performed and how VCN can control the process rate since most of the treatment is done during the vacuum cycle.
