Temperature Cleasning System
This varible temperature cleaning system uses methylene chloride
at temperatures up to 150 F. The unit completely evacuates
prior to solvent introduction to the chamber so as to allow
for temperature operations above the normal boiling point
of the solvent. The cleaning is performed under pressure to
assure effective cleaning. Operating above atmospheric pressure
enhances the cleaning efficiency of many solvents.
The unit above uses perchloroethylene at 200 F. Vacuum
to Vacuum systems can vapor degrease with solvents below
their normal boiling point. This allows for the use of effective
solvents at lower temperatures.
